Wimbledon!

Tuesday 28th July 2011.. I went to Wimbledon, I've always wanted to go to wimbledon to watch the tennis and experience the atmosphere so yesterday I decided to go. I had the best day apart from the thunderstorms it was an amazing experience and really want to go again. We managed to watch 3 matches the first match was on court 19 between Mathias Bourgue (FRA) v. Liam Broady (GBR). Then after the rain we watched the second set of the womens doubles on court 3 between Liezel Huber (USA) & Lisa Raymond (USA) v. Angelique Kerber (GER) & Christina McHale (USA). Then afterwards it was the mens doubles between Colin Fleming (GBR) & Ross Hutchins (GBR) v. Ashley Fisher (AUS) & Stephen Huss (AUS). Then on our way out we managed to see Roger Federer the perfect end to a perfect day.

London

A day out with my dad we first went to Churchill War Rooms then wondered to the Design Museum and then walked down to the southbank center. It was a really good day and a nice chance to spend quality time with my dad :)

Development on the dots!

after some advice i tried this design with brighter colours.. after printing my poster in a2 size i was able to see the faults that needed to be changed.. the colours needed to be brighter and the images which were scanned were not that good quality and therefore is now all computer based.. the type also needed to be smaller.. (shown in the top image)

Open days take two

At first i really liked the thought of this project.. but now its just stressing me out. This is the second development after my crit.. i realised i needed to be a bit more clear in the message im trying to send to those wanting to visit Brighton university. I quite like the idea of Brighton university being a place where you can stand out from the crowd.. those few who are given a place obviously have something different and exciting to bring to the university. In my designs i want them to be simple not too busy, this design uses shapes and colour to show the squares as everyone else and the triangle being you.. different and unique.
