final magazine- double page spread for grafik magazine

I created my double page spread by cutting printed out images and laid them out in a similar style to grafik magazine, however when i scanned the page onto the computer the quality was poor so i needed to re-design the page on Indesign and this is the final outcome.

Book- Prototypes of ideas

This prototype was inspired by Bruno Munari has his children's book where he used tracing paper to form three- dimensional spaces. I like how this could add depth to my book and the image and text merge through the paper creating many layers to the image.

Book- Prototypes of ideas

I experimented by researching current books in 'Experimental formats and packaging'. This one shows how i could cut into the paper adding depth and layering to the book making it more interesting to look at.

Viral campaign- Solitaire/ organization

This is the first steps to creating my viral campaign for the game solitaire. Im looking at organization and how the game's aim to to place cards in rows and piles. This could link to OCD and how it could take over your everyday routine. I've taken 5 images and placed them in order and repeated them many times showing routine. The use of the ruler shows and represents accuracy and that the items need to be place in a certain way.

Stephan Rolfes (Germany)- Runner up

A sudden snowfall in November provided the perfect setting for photography. Stephan started to look for 'beautiful trees', he says, and found these two. He liked how the fog erased the horizon.

Cedric Jacquet (Belgium)

Michal Budzynski (Poland)

Winter in Poland can be severe. Michal had gone to this lake specifically to take black-and-white shots, and was inspired by this tree, seemingly erupting from the huge crack in the frozen water.

Wildlife Photographer of the year- Natural History Museum. Some Beautiful images

Danny Green (UK)
Nature in Black and White- Winner
Starling numbers in the UK swell in December and January, as birds from the continent head for milder wintering areas. 'This flock in Scotland' says Danny, 'was so impressive. A peregrine falcon then sent ripples of panic through it.'
