The beginning of Christmas 2010!

Its the start of christmas 2010 and can't wait! I went home this weekend to help with the decorations and meet up with my old work friends with whom ill be working with over christmas! It was soo good to catch up. Our house is looking very festive now! and looking forward to spending more time with the family :)

More Snow

Day two and the snow is getting thicker... today me and jo went to the beach to document the snow it was good fun but very cold too..

My first lot of snow since i've been in brighton! It was surreal being on the beach in snow but very good fun at the same time :)

Final

This project seems to be going on for ages, so i think this is the final design. I've looked at it so much i think i need a break and perhaps come back to it before assessments..

Steve McCurry

For my C&CS lectures i had to write an essay on something that you were inspired by at the Camera-less photography exhibition at the V&A, i decided to look at a theme of 'lost moments' captured through image. For one of my artist research i looked at Steve McCurry and got inspired by his work. His images are beautiful and capture life as it is.

London V&A

For our C&CS lecture we visited the V&A museum to see 'shadow catchers- camera less photography' the exhibition was good with some amazing work and processes. It was the first outing of hopefully many with my graphics class and i had lots of fun going around the v&a then to harrods followed by a walk through Piccadilly and Trafalgar square and these are just a few photos taken....

Darkroom

Today i spent 3 hours in the darkroom processing some black and white negatives. These were two of the image i managed to print as it took me ages to figure out how long to expose the image for, therefore creating images which were too dark.. but these came out ok, just need more practice but it was good fun.
